We arrived safely!
Overnight flight, so not much sleep, but we are okay, but tired. Our estimation of the most hours people slept is two. Most of us don't even know. However, we are awake and have adjusted (mostly) to the time zone.
We took a coach (bus) ride from London Heathrow to Cheltenham (about a two hour drive on the wrong side of the road). The countryside was beautiful. We saw many hills, farms, and sheep!! Although some slept through the drive.
Some of us went shopping. And discovered it was pretty cold in the summertime here in England.
Cheltenham is a very quaint and lovely Cotswold town!
We are practicing our British accents. Julie thinks she is getting quite good. Time will tell.
BRILLIANT!!!
We will travel to Wales tomorrow!!!
We don't have enough time to put pictures on here, but hopefully we will find somewhere to do that soon. Hope you are all doing well in the States!
It's 8:05 to your 3:05. Good night.
Haha, Julie!! Your British accent is AWESOME! =) Hope you all are having fun! I'll be following you here!! =) We missed you at the game yesterday...Jade and I were the only girls and Eddie shot me in the back... *rolls eyes* It's funny because he gets SO intense when you give him an airsoft gun. Haha! I'll miss you on Tuesday...my Birthday! And we NEED to get together when you guys come home. I haven't seen you in a LONG time!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, is it just you and Tracie's blog, or is it the whole Choir's blog? =)
Miss you guys, and hope you have an AMAZING time in England. =)
Talk to you later!
Alison
Great news! Will share details with folks at CCG this morning. Blessings! Joe
ReplyDeleteAlison,
ReplyDeleteActually, it is the whole choir's blog.
Cheerio!
Kevin Finke (Julie's Dad)
Hello to all in jolly, old England ... or is it Wales today? Actually, I guess you made it to Worcester today. Hope all is well! We would love to hear more.
ReplyDeleteCheerio, Chaps!
Alison, Tracie and I are the only ones with passwords. Any choir members can access the blog, but they cannot post pictures or anything. You all sound like you had a great time playing airsoft!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, dad, you are correct: we went to Worcester yesterday.
Now to post on the blog!
